Microsoft has recently showcased the detailed preview of its next most important release of Windows, marked Windows 8. Microsoft has claimed that the new Windows 8 operating system introduces a new range of capabilities without compromise, from the chipset to the user experience. Also, Microsoft said that Windows 8 will be equally suitable for both mobile devices (like tablets) and desktops.
Although it has been only 10months since the introduction of Windows 7 system, still it is expected that new Microsoft product will completely engulf users under its claws. The wide and innovative range of features provided to the users has laid the benchmark for Microsoft.
Windows 8 adds support for ARM microprocessors along with the traditional x86 microprocessors from Intel and AMD. Reviewers suggest that Intel is likely a stronger candidate as ever despite the emergence of an alternative platform for Windows 8. Sources suggest that if Windows 8 runs successfully on Intel processor, then plethora feature rich, light and innovative devices will soon come our way.

Evidence 1: The first Windows 8 powered tablet is Samsung tablet which is power-packed with Intel processor. Microsoft distributed at the time of unveiling the latest OS, Windows 8. However, most of the tablets available these days are powered with ARM processor. Reviewers quote that Windows 8 is not ready for ARM and AMD, yet.
It is expected that Windows 8 will be ready for tablets/laptops using processors from Qualcomm by next year.
Evidence 2: Windows 8 powered Intel devices are supposed to be more compatible and secure than any other architecture. It is expected that most businesses will not take a chance on an ARM-based tablet, irrespective to its low-price and power efficiency. Also, businesses may not even opt for a tablet. By late 2012, early 2013 (when Windows 8 is expected) Intel-based Ultrabooks may be close enough to a tablet experience
Evidence 3: Intel is all about performance. That's not to say that tablet or laptop powered with other architectures (ARM, AMD, Qualcom or Nvidia) will be slow, but Intel will surely have the upper hand in performance.
It is observed that both Microsoft and Intel are planning to deliver compelling technologies to take on Apple's iPad and iOS dominance. For instance, the chip giant Intel is investing $300 million into a so-called Intel Capital Ultrabook Fund.
Windows 8 with Intel processor is expected to revolutionize the tech industry. It is said that Intel's partnership with Windows 8 is going to hard to defeat by any other tech major.
The next century requires a quick and user-friendly access to information and data along with secure privacy settings. Windows 8 is expected to fulfill expectations of the steadfast users of Microsoft. Since Microsoft has not yet launched Windows 8 system, the curiosity among people is continuously increasing. However, Microsoft has promised to reveal more features of Windows 8 soon.
One has to wait some more in order to see what appears out of Microsoft's magical wand.
